Wisconsin DCF Foundational Child Care Teacher Provider Training Courses
All entry level and continuing education courses are approved by the Wisconsin Department of Children and Family and The Registry.

Required Courses for the Lead Teacher:

  • Skills and Strategies for the Child Care Teacher

  • Introduction to the Child Care Profession

  • Fundamentals of Infant and Toddler Care

  • First Aid/CPR/AED

Required Courses for the Assistant Teacher:

  • Introduction to the Child Care Profession

  • Fundamentals of Infant and Toddler Care

  • First Aid/CPR/AED

Required Courses for the Family Child Care Provider/Owner:

To Start a In-Home Family Child Care Program

  • Introduction to the Child Care Profession

  • Fundamentals of Family Child Care

  • Fundamentals of Infant and Toddler Care (if caring for children 2 and under)

  • First Aid/CPR/AED

Requirements for Group Child Care -

Meet with one of our start-up Consultants

All continuing education classes are approved by Wisconsin DCF.  If you would like your CE course to appear on your registry account, you will need to send your completion certificate to us along with your registry number.  All 7-10 days for your registry account to be updated.
